Wooly Bear

While getting Seppe his morning snack; I came across this caterpillar inching along our floor. I reluctantly scooped him up, took a photo, and asked my friends if they knew what it was!

After some researching on whatsthatbug.com(whoa is there a lot of creepy caterpillars!) I found out we had a harmless wooly bear. Sad fact? He will not turn into a butterfly, but a gross moth.

Without further adieu meet Wilbur the Wooly Bear caterpillar.


We're hoping to see him spin his cocoon. Should be soon!
